Jason L. Turner

Mr. Turner has worked extensively within the entertainment industry for over a decade.  His experience spans nearly all aspects of the music industry including artist management, record label promotions, performing as a professional musician and representing various artists and industry executives in his capacity as a lawyer.   

 

Mr. Turner’s current clients include Grammy-nominated and Emmy Award-winning producers, artists and songwriters who have sold over 100 million records, record companies and record label executives. He was named one of Billboard Magazine’s “Power Players: 30 Under 30” in 2007.

 

While attending Stetson University College of Law, Mr. Turner was a member of Stetson’s Negotiation Team and #1-nationally ranked Trial Team.  Mr. Turner was part of the team that won the 2004 Florida Bar Chester Bedell Mock Trial Competition and 2004 National Trial Competition.  Mr. Turner was honored with membership into The Order of Barristers, awarded the Raphael Steinhardt Award for his character, leadership and service to the community, and the William F. Blews Pro Bono Award for his Pro Bono work.

 

Mr. Turner is a frequent guest speaker on entertainment and legal issues and is an adjunct professor at Stetson University College of Law and a former professor at Belmont University’s Curb College of Entertainment & Music Business.  He also serves on the Stetson University Lawyers Association Advisory Council.
